I have a senior _______ (dog, cat, cow, rat, rooster, parent, etc.) I am no longer willing/able to take care of. Can you take it?
No, sorry. We do not accept owner surrenders as we have limited space and need to keep what we have open for shelter dogs (and the occasional shelter cat or rat) in danger of euthanasia. We also do not have the resources to take care of larger animals such as cows, nor do we have the resources to take in aging humans.
Where are you located?
We do not have a physical location, as we are a foster-based rescue. Most of our board members are located in central Denver, but we have foster homes, adoptive homes, and volunteers all over Colorado.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes! You will receive a receipt of donation immediately after your donation (in the case of online donations, for physical contributions please give us up to two weeks to get your receipt in the mail) that you can use for your taxes.
Do you need volunteers?
Not at this time.
I have some items I would like to donate, what is the best way to get them to you?
The best place to donate items is to the Colorado Pet Pantry. Rescues and shelters all over Colorado, including us, get much-needed supplies from them.
